17.27 is a contemporary speakeasy built around the relationship between perception and space. The design unites two seemingly distinct functions into a single coherent system, defined by continuity, materials and light.
The space unfolds through a sequence of filtered areas, where thresholds and shifts in light guide the visitor’s path without ever making it explicit. Surfaces, reflections and textures help to create an intimate and measured atmosphere, where every element is part of the overall design.
Furnishings and display units are integrated into the architecture and designed to accommodate both functions, avoiding clear divisions and promoting a unified interpretation of the space.
