Kabana is a project for the Albanian coast that interprets the idea of summer shelter with a contemporary language, inspired by the simplicity of traditional seaside structures. A modular wood and reed system rises from the ground and opens toward the sea, defining shaded and permeable spaces where light filters through and the wind blows through.
The structure, designed to be temporary and reversible, fits into the coastal landscape with respect and lightness. The use of local and natural materials reinforces the dialogue with the Mediterranean environment, while the regular and geometric composition gives the project an essential elegance.
