Beinasco _ TO

The project for the new headquarters of the Gallina Group in Beinasco stems from the desire to preserve the existing production structure, reinterpreting it through a contemporary language based on sustainability, innovation and corporate identity.
The concept of transparency is at the heart of the project: not only in terms of material quality, but also as an ethical and spatial principle. The public and representative functions are enclosed in transparent polycarbonate volumes, inviting visitors to enter and discover the production system. The administrative and operational areas, on the other hand, are defined by opaque panels in satin-finish lead-coloured aluminium, creating a clear dialogue between openness and introspection.
The new office building stands alongside the existing production building, which has been maintained and made legible even on the façade: the rhythm of the pillars and metal panels punctuates the envelope, generating a continuous vibration between solids, filters and glazed surfaces.
Inside, the vertical distribution crosses a green corridor that connects the offices and production areas, bringing the idea of a park into the heart of the complex. The upper floor houses the public spaces: showroom, conference room, demonstration laboratory and Polycarbonate Academy, culminating in a sinuous volume in coloured polycarbonate that plastically expresses the potential of the material.
