“Segmenta” is a residential architecture born from the idea of fragmenting the main volume into distinct blocks, connected by light and transparent elements. Each segment interacts with the surrounding environment through views and specific materials, creating a changing and dynamic composition.
The design plays with the alternation between solids and voids, light and shadow, stability and suspension. The surfaces feature inserts of local stone, while the glazed openings carve into the built mass to offer glimpses of the landscape.
