Spira is a project for children that translates the lightness and movement of a pinwheel into architecture.
The building is composed around a central fulcrum, from which the different functional volumes branch off in a radial manner: the classrooms, the common areas, the play areas.
Each room opens outwards with large windows that create a constant dialogue between inside and outside, light and matter.
The planimetric organisation stimulates the children’s sense of orientation and creates a welcoming, experience-friendly environment.
